The system of Government that works without ways of obtaining advantages of living together even when there are great obstacles to unity is most suitable for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is imperative that under such a system, the special loyalty of an individual to such an ethnic persuasion which may be in conflict with the loyalty to the State must be accommodated to provide for the goodwill of the citizen. The economic structure and fortunes of the country to a great extent explain its politics presently. In Nigeria today, there are distinct differences in language, religion, and ethnic persuasion as a result the form of government that is in place ought to redress the grievances of the aggrieved. But this is not so. Political forms may not be classified in finality because forms change with time. Politics revolves around living men and changing habits and not with dead things.
