Frederick Chiluba ruled Zambia between 1991 and 2001.

Chiluba failed in his bid to run for a third term, even though he looted his country's treasury.

$58 million out of his ill-gotten assets in England were identified, confiscated and ordered to be returned to Zambia to assist the disillusioned and impoverished citizenry.

NIN-The Blockage of Lines of Millions of Nigerians Undemocratic-Ex-Officio TUC

The decision of the Federal Government to block the lines of millions of Nigerians for failing to register for the National Identity Number(NIN) translates to the infringement of their Fundamental Human Rights. This is the opinion of an Ex-Officio of the Oyo State Council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), who is also a former chairman of the union in the state, Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''The Federal Government has blocked the lines of millions of Nigerians, this action tramples on their Fundamental Human Rights. It is undemocratic. Instead of resolving the myriad of challenges confronting the country, the Government has only added to the problems of Nigerians. This is disturbing and unacceptable,'' Comrade Emelieze lamented.

Making Difficult Decisions

Your ability to take difficult decisions would go a long way in determining your survival in business. There must be consistency in making decisions considered to be necssary, but unpopular and difficult, timely. Decisions such as the shutting down of unproductive branches and the retrenchment of redundant staff should not be allowed to linger for so long.
